Home-Start Knowsley news....

As we start 2010, we look forward to a year full of new beginnings for some and additional support from Home-Start. We have been successful in securing some additional funding to recruit, train and support volunteers through the breastfeeding peer support programme. This means that we are looking for even more people to get involved, particularly around providing support to new Mums, to encourage breastfeeding initiatisation and lengthier uptake of breastfeeding.

So if you are a new Mum or you're expecting a baby soon and want to give your baby the best possible start in life, but perhaps you're just not sure about breastfeeding, please get in touch and we will provide support to you, either in your own home or community based through a Sure Start Children's Centre.
